Crossfit has been endorsing more straight legged deadlifts in WODs. Also there is a video about the proper use, form and weight for it just like the good mornings. The certification sites have endorse it to improve stablization for the lower back and hammies for a warm ups and light weight WODs not for heavy lift WODs. Plus the straight leg deadlift is great for people with SI issues and weak hammies.</description>
