WOD:
Today’s WOD is an alumni workout in honor of OC Tellez. Quite literally, this website and affiliate would not exist without Tellez. He has been instrumental in the growth of our program, and there is NO WAY that I ever would have been able to figure out all of the computer “stuff” required to get the blog up and running. Tellez, keep up the good work, fair winds and following seas, and make sure you turn the Nuke community into a CrossFit community! By the way, he was also a kick ass center for 3 years of flag football, and never missed a practice!
OC Tellez – The Center
For Time:
100 Double Unders
50 Tire Jumps
40 KB Swings (55#)
30 Pull Ups (CTB)
100 Double Unders
Technique:
Handstands
Inspiration: I remember this from an old AND 1 T-shirt, I’ll paraphrase it to the best of my memory…”Right now, somewhere, someone is practicing, and when you meet them in competition they will beat you.”

Tellez,
You and I started this CrossFit thing together last spring and you have not let up. You’ve come a long way from barely being able to do one pull-up to now putting together perfect butterflies in a row.
It’s been a pleasure serving with you and watching you come so far. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to serve together again.
Fair winds and following seas,
YNC

Thank you for the kind words and thanks to everyone for doing my workout. I am a better person just by being associated with you all. Sorry to those who haven’t quite mastered the double-under yet, but now maybe you’ll think of that pain the next time you see me a)running b)trying to climb a rope or c)doing ring dips!
