Some thoughts from CrossFit One World that are worth reading:

Why do you Crossfit? Do you want to just be healthier and happier? Are you trying to lose weight? Are you trying to improve athletic performance? Looking to be a better cop, firefighter, parent, or teacher? You have to go here to get there. It’s called Intensity. It leaves you exhausted and beaten down, yet invigorated and satisfied . Intensity is a dark place that we don’t want to visit, but if you go there enough, everything that you want will be achieved. I assure you that life in general is just easier when you are healthy. Throw yourself full bore at your workouts. We rarely ask for more than 20 minutes. You can always go harder, faster, heavier, and quicker than you think you are capable.
